Carey Davidson

Carey Davidson, Executive Director

Carey, the Founder and CEO of Tournesol Wellness, is a visionary with over 20 years of executive leadership experience. She has led successful initiatives to improve the lives of stakeholders in the areas of healthcare, non-profit and higher education. She realized her talent for building creative solutions as head of HR at Columbia College, leveraging the link between happiness and productivity to decrease turnover and increase employee engagement. Carey served as the Executive Director of CARING at Columbia, a Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, leading a creative, therapeutic team to support the emotional needs of at-risk children.

Stephen Cowan

Stephen Cowan, MD, Director of Health & Education

The Tournesol Kids Project is based upon the model for healthy child development designed by Stephen Cowan, MD, a world-renowned integrative developmental pediatrician. This proven model is outlined in his book, Fire Child, Water Child. Dr. Cowan’s method has been honed in his private practice in which, over the course of 30 years, he has cared for thousands of children, reached many more thousands of readers and taught many hundreds of students.

Belinda Levychin

Belinda Levychin, Program & Marketing Director

Belinda’s 20 plus years of marketing experience has included a diverse group of categories from banking to burgers. Prior to serving as a Marketing Director for KBL, a CPA & Financial advisory firm, Belinda was a Group Account Director with the advertising agency Uniworld Group, where she executed projects for a variety of Fortune 500 companies including, Burger King, Ford and Colgate. She has also worked as a Vice President for Chase Manhattan Bank where she focused on developing marketing campaigns targeting the Asian, Hispanic and General markets. Belinda currently serves as an adjunct at New York University and has also taught at Baruch College, City University of New York. She is also a certified Yoga Instructor and believes that we can all go as far as the breath takes us.

Harriet Beinfield

Harriet Beinfield, LAc, President

Harriet has been a pioneer educator, acupuncturist and author who has practiced Chinese medicine for 45 years.  She co-authored the best-selling ‘Between Heaven and Earth: A Guide to Chinese Medicine’ as well as many articles.  She is on the Advisory Board of the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine and serves on the Editorial Board of the peer-previewed journals, ‘Explore: The Journal of Science and Healing’ and ‘Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine’. She has lectured nationally and internationally.

Charles Martin

Charles Martin, PhD, Vice-President

Charles has worked for over 18 years marketing to consumers, patients and doctors. Initially starting out as therapist after earning PhD’s in both Psychology and Statistics, Charles became a strategist with a passion for solving challenges faced in healthcare. Utilizing a breadth of experience within and across categories to bring relevant solutions to brands, Charles has a track record of delivering global insight-driven advertising, incorporating an understanding of human psychology and advertising dynamics. He understands the needs of client, agency and supplier environments, championing ideas that build brands and sales.

Katharine Giudice

Katharine Giudice, Treasurer

Katharine is an attorney at Thivierge & Rothberg, P.C., a firm that focuses exclusively on special education law. She represents students with disabilities and their families in order to secure appropriate educational programming and services. Katharine has written articles and presented on topics including cyber-bullying, transgender rights, and special education advocacy. She continues to advocate for children and adolescents with special needs.

Jennifer Khalaf

Jennifer Khalaf

Jennifer is a Certified Holistic Health and Integrative Nutrition Coach working with mothers and families to improve their health in a simple and attainable way. She understands the challenges of raising a young family and is committed to helping parents establish healthy eating and lifestyle habits to help their families thrive. Whether it is a trip to the grocery store or a fun food demonstration, Jennifer loves to get everyone in the family engaged in taking strides toward living a healthier and more vibrant life. Jennifer received her training from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition and runs her own health coaching business and blog, Thrive Hive Wellness.

Craig Smith

Craig Smith

Breaking traditional molds, Craig has launched a dynamic and multi-faceted career as a creative arts professional, holistic health & fitness coach, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Craig’s extensive 20 plus year’s of experience across these various industries, has enabled him to travel the world, acquire a wealth of experience, and develop a platform to fulfill his primary passion of contributing to the lives and betterment of others. Craig is excited to join the Tournesol Kids Team and implement the model for healthy child development in his work with children globally, designed by world-renowned integrative pediatrician, Stephen Cowan, MD.
